35 Year History
THE GASHOUSE was one of the first buildings in Edwards and was originally built as a service station in the 1940's. After it closed in the late 60's, the building sat empty until 1982 when long time Vail Valley resident, Connie, had the creative vision to turn it into a log cabin-hunting lodge restaurant. The renovation was complete in February 1983, when THE GASHOUSE first opened its doors for hungry bellies and thirsty bodies.
Over the course of the last 35 years, THE GASHOUSE has doubled in size; adding a second dining room and a state of art kitchen, leading THE GASHOUSE to create one of the largest menus available in the Vail Valley.
